Turning the Homepage into a Crayola Canvas
Fun abounds had a great logo full of splashy colors you might find in a Crayola box, but their homepage was generic. To emphasize the fun and playful nature of their business, we filled the homepage with those bright colors and enlarged the existing child’s drawing to create a more prominent visual element. We blew up the thumbnail images associated with each category and covered those with splashes of color. Instead of text paragraphs, each category is hoverable, inviting the user to click on the image for more information. Additional fun elements were added to the “Latest Projects” gallery to encourage interaction.
