Since 1961, they have been devoted to helping residents live their best lives through a rich array of cultural, social, and philanthropic activities. Foremost Media was chosen to help bring their vision to life with a fresh and modern website redesign that captures the warmth, energy, and community of Horizon House.

Revitalizing Horizon House’s Digital Experience

The goal of the Horizon House website redesign was to transition from an outdated look to a more appealing and user-friendly platform. Our team got right to work on crafting a smooth and responsive website experience that highlights their services and lifestyle offerings. The new site is developed with simple navigation so that visitors can easily retrieve information about living arrangements, wellness programs, and dining amenities, and to create an inviting atmosphere that matches the community's ambiance. The redesign was also heavily focused on making the website ADA-compliant as to ensure accessibility for all users, such as those with disabilities.

The core of the redesign was actually the addition of a user-friendly content management system (CMS) whereby Horizon House can make ongoing updates to their site information. This empowers their personnel to keep the site up-to-date with the latest on events, services, and community initiatives so that prospective residents and their families always have access to the most current and relevant information.

Ever since the launch of the redesigned website, Horizon House has seen greater user engagement, with increased visit times on the website and better engagement with core content. The new, mobile-friendly format has made it easier for potential residents and families to navigate the site and discover more about what Horizon House has to offer, while enhanced accessibility elements have encouraged increased levels of interaction across the board. The site’s modern and minimalist look and simplicity of use have been consequential factors in Horizon House's online success, even earning a Web Excellence Award for Senior Care Services.
