Gavin Hall is a graduate from Baraboo High School who plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Platteville for a degree in Marketing. Since the 3rd grade, Gavin has been designing his own comic books and card games, his first card game being called “Doodlemon.” Over the years, he has created over 200 unique cards for use in this game, has sold five of his self-made comic books, and has branched out into board game creation as well.
Gavin is also passionate about art, practicing through all kinds of mediums from drawing and sculpting to graphic design and painting. Two of his monochrome paintings were on display during his school’s art show, and he was an active member of the Art Club. He even lent his design skills to create logos and visuals for his school’s Chess Club.
Along with his artistic pursuits, Gavin has a strong interest in computers. He completed eight computer-focused courses in high school and was recognized by the computer science department with the “Most Likely to Be a Hacker” superlative. He also creates online content for his YouTube channel, where one video amassed 15,000 views and over 180,000 impressions.
Whether editing content, coding, or collaborating on creative projects, Gavin brings curiosity, talent, and energy to everything he does—and is excited to turn that passion into a career in marketing.
Kooper is a graduate from Milton High School who has been coding games on his tablet since fifth grade. During the peak of COVID-19, he used his passion for technology to code Minecraft Servers for revenue. He conceptualized a game mode worth $700,000 and made around $20,000 from his servers.
During his junior year, Kooper designed an app called “Milton Relay” that features laude point calculation, absence tracking, and parent-teacher communication for school. He placed fourth in the nation and first in the state during coding competitions. In addition, Kooper and his friend created a website for the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). So far, they have placed first at regionals and state.
One skill he’s learned about web design is user retention by making navigation items easy to use. Kooper aspires to start his own software company after graduating from college with a degree in Computer Science. He also plans to get a master's degree in Machine Learning. With siblings who struggle with disabilities, Kooper aspires to build applications with AI that work for everyone and are more inclusive. We can’t wait to see where the future takes you, Kooper!

Jacob is a graduate of Sheboygan North High School in Wisconsin and simultaneously earned an associate’s degree from Lakeshore Technical College. His passion for coding dates back to first grade; when asked what he wanted to be when he grew up, he answered, “Make apps!” He began teaching himself in middle school and has since branched out into programming and web development. Jacob gives his all in everything he does; he captained the robotics team, went to state for his snare drum solo in band, was named 5th best debate speaker in the state, and won Top-Boy in the County for trap. Jacob is looking forward to continuing his education at Lakeland University, where he will major in Computer Science. He believes his possibilities are limitless. Based on his track record, we think so, too!
