Live Tabs Module

Description:

A DNN module that creates a tabbed look to content with the tabs running horizontally across the top of the content or vertically down the side. Module allows for embedding other DNN modules inside the tabs

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Managing tabs
   1. With the site in edit mode, select “Manage Tabs” from either the black edit icon’s dropdown that shows on hover or the module’s custom menu shown below.
      
   2. Once in the tab management, you can change the order of the tabs by clicking and dragging the bars at the top of the module. The icons on the right are for selecting the tab you wish to edit, copying a tab, selecting the tab that is open when page is loaded, and deleting a tab.
   3. Available editing once you select to edit the appropriate tab by clicking on the pencil icon on the far right for the tab you wish to edit include editing the HTML, reviewing Version Tracking among other settings. Note: Any edits to a particular tab need to be saved by clicking Update Tab before proceeding to update another tab.
      1. HTML - edit with the standard WYSIWYG editor
      2. Version Tracking
         1. The system keeps up to 5 versions including the live version of content in the HTML editor.
         2. You can choose to compare two versions by selecting versions via the checkboxes and clicking the Compare button.
         3. On the right, you can select to view a version via the magnifying glass icon, discard a version via the trash can icon or revert to a previous version with the green revert icon.
         4. If you click on Modules on the far right, you can select to add an existing module inside the tab via the modules dropdown. Select the module from the Module dropdown and click Add Module. If any modules are already added, they display in the list of Selected Modules. To remove a selected module, click on the module name and then the trash icon. The up and down arrows will move a selected module up or down in the order it will be displayed in the tab.
         5. Tab settings
            1. If you click the Settings tab, you can access the Permissions tab to allow for specific access permissions on tabbed content just as you can restrict access to a module or page.
         6. Once complete with editing a tab, be sure to click “Update Tab”. Failure to click that button will lose any changes.
