This brief tutorial is going to show you how to hyperlink text. So you're going to go into your module and edit content. In this case, we'll just use the add content default placeholder copy as an example.

You just select whatever content you want to hyperlink. And from there, you're going to choose the link icon. And now this is where you're going to select what you're linking to. So it could be a portal file or other URL.

So if it was an external website, you can paste that in the URL field. You could also choose portal page. That will allow you to browse your website and pick a page within your website. Also there is link to anchor and text and email.

Generally we advise against using emails in there. It makes it a little more susceptible to getting spam. You should always have people use the contact form to prevent any issues with spam and then link to anchor and text.

It's not used widely but if you do use that, you also have to put the anchor in place to use that option. But portal page and portal file or other URL, they're going to be the most common go to as to what you're linking to.
