This is a DNN9 tutorial for adding a hyperlink to an image.

00:07
Once you've already logged in, you're in admin mode here, edit mode, you have your module set up on the page already, we're going to click edit content, going to clear out that placeholder content, and then we're going to click the image button, we're going to browse to the server, from there you're going to scroll until you see an images folder or possibly a child folder under that, and you're going to select an image.

00:39
You can see it's highlighted there, should have the image name in the relative URL, and you're going to want to use that relative URL, click ok, clear out the width and height, generally you're going to want that to be image set so it'll fill whatever content pane you have it in on the site, so you've got that set up, put in your alt text, and then you're going to click to link, you can do browse to server if you want to link it to something, otherwise from this point you can hit ok.

01:24
If you click once on that and select the link tool or control k, then when you get here you can choose what link type if you want a portal file or other URL, so if you want to link it to an external site you can paste that link in there, you're going to click on the server protocol based on if it has an SSL which is the HTTPS or HTTP, you can also choose portal page and this will allow you to pick a page from your website.

01:58
You can also link to a phone number, generally we suggest not to link to phone numbers and also email addresses but you could also alternatively do that as well, so you will pick your link type, get that all set and then click ok and then your image will be hyperlinked.
