Copying Divi Modules Between Sites

DESCRIPTION:

Steps to copying Divi modules between sites.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Saving to the Divi Library

  1. After logging in, go to the page with the module you want to add to another site
  2. Enable Visual Builder (top menu)
  3. Hover the module to see the gray module control bar
  4. Click the "Save module to library" option (3rd icon from right).

  5. Enter a name for the module and click "Save to library"
  6. In the admin menu (left side) go to Divi>Divi Library
  7. Check the box next to the module name and select the “Import & Export” button at the top.
  8. Click the box to only export the selected items if you have multiple layouts and only want one layout. Otherwise, export all.

Importing to the other site

  1. Login on the site where you want to add the module layout.
  2. Go to Divi>Divi Library
  3. Select the “Import & Export” button at the top.
  4. Select "Import" in the popup
  5. Select the exported file (should be in downloads folder on your computer)
  6. Click "Import Divi Builder Layouts" button
  7. Visit the page you want to add the module to by clicking Edit with Divi link under the page name in your page’s list
  8. Add any sections or rows as needed 
  9. Use the gray plus icon to add a new module to the pane of your choosing
  10. Click the “Add From Library” option on the popup.
  11. Choose the newly imported layout from the list in your library.

  12. Update the content in the new module as needed
  13. Save your changes by clicking the purple circle at bottom center of page and click the save button on the right
