This WordPress tutorial is going to show you how to use Divi. So we have a Divi theme with the Divi builder installed here, so you can tell if that's there. You'll see Divi listed in your admin bar here on the left -hand side.

So we want to edit our page using Divi. Once you've created that page and added it in there, it's always going to provide the edit with Divi link here. So we can just go and click right on that link, and we're going to get in and edit the page.

0:33
So this page is not yet, but edit it. We're just going to do start building. And so we have the default content there that was brought in with the install on the site. So you'll see that when you hover the content, you get some little circles with pluses, and you also have a few different menu items here that pop up.

0:54
So the gray is going to be for content that's inside this region right here. So if you're clicking on adding that, it's going to add another element within this section here, which is the green section. And this green section is sort of the wrapper around the content there. That's the gray, where the gray is actually the elements that you add, such as images or whatever. So if we want to go and add, say, an image on there, we're going to hit the plus sign, and you'll see here you get this pop up for new modules.

1:35
And you can scroll down and select whatever it is that you're going to add. So we'll just keep it simple. We're going to add an image, and you get a few options here when you hover on it. So we're going to click on that. We've already got an image here uploaded to our gallery. So we're going to select that and upload our image. Then if it's good to go, click the green to save. otherwise you have undo, redo, and you also have a cancel.

2:02
So we're gonna leave that in there. Now say we want that to the top of our page. You'll notice if you hover, you get a crosshair icon. So then essentially we can scroll and move that up the page. You just see that gray bar there and that's gonna show you where you're placing that element.

2:21
If we wanna add something further down the page, let's say we want a whole new section below there. If we scroll down, we'll get this green. And here we can choose a new row. So let's do three across. So now you can see we have those in there and it's like, what do you wanna add there? So we can go in and find something I wanna add. Let's add an icon. We'll just pick this one. So, we have an icon in there now, and if we want to add some text underneath, you can do a blurb.

3:15
Okay, then that's the whole point of getting back to you. And then we have, we'll just let this copy go in there. So then we got, you know, the star of a section of a grid of several across. If we want to update and modify the image, we can get in there and update the image.

3:38
So that's how you can go about adding new sections to your, and building out your page using the Divi Builder. As you've seen, there are a lot of options in there in terms of the modules, accordions and contact forms and so forth, galleries, maps, and so on.

3:59
So you do have a lot to choose from in there, and it's essentially a kind of click and drag method and you can go in and add your content to your page that way, move them around. If you want to move any sections, you always get the crosshairs on hover. You can see about moving your content around. And this is how you can content pop your pages using the Divi Builder.
