SMC Consulting Engineers is a full-service civil and environmental engineering firm founded in 1947 and based in Oklahoma. They approached Foremost Media for a new website as their current web developer and host was closing its doors.

Existing Content, New Layout

Our goal for this project was to use the same content from the client’s existing website while giving the new site a more modern look and feel. We rearranged the layout by moving the introductory copy from the bottom of the page to the top, and dropping the side-scrolling portfolio images further down the page. Negative space was incorporated for a cleaner look and to draw the eye to the important information.

Contrasting Colors Help Content Stand Out

In addition to these layout revisions, we added contrasting colors to the Call to Action buttons to help them stand out better. We also added an Our Services block with contrasting colors to the homepage and a testimonial to demonstrate trustworthiness.
