ZYP Coatings in Oak Ridge, TN, produces paintable high-temperature ceramic refractory coatings for metals, ceramics, and graphite. They requested a complete redesign of their existing WordPress site to improve functionality and add new options.

Improved Organization & Structure

One of the client’s top priorities was ensuring customers could find the products and services they wanted using fewer clicks. To achieve this, we focused on organizing and structuring the content better, and added specific content — including featured products/categories, videos, and documents — to the homepage. We also expanded the product category search filters. Additionally, at the request of the client, we created the ability to configure multiple shipping options.

Original Artwork Adds Flair

One of the most unique features about the ZYP Coatings site is the homepage imagery, which incorporates one of the owner’s personal artwork. The backgrounds in the hero graphic and “Industries We Serve” CTA are pulled from an original painting, giving the site a bright, vibrant, and exciting look and feel.

The addition of bulk discounts, custom fields, and advanced product filtering resulted in a website that is more user-friendly and functional than the previous site. It’s a great-looking site that feels very inviting.
