Each year, through our grant program, Foremost Media proudly donates a full website redesign to a deserving nonprofit organization. For 2024, we were honored to work with Family Services of Southern Wisconsin, an incredible nonprofit that’s been changing the lives of Beloit community members since 1934.
This remarkable organization has been quietly making a difference for nearly a century, supporting families, standing up for victims, and helping people who need it most through counseling, education, advocacy, case management, and more. When they applied for our website redesign grant, their mission instantly struck a chord with us. There was no doubt that a new online presence would help them to share their story and extend their impact even further.
Why Family Services?
Family Services has always been there for the community. Back in the 1930s, they were there handing out milk to schoolchildren, and over the years, started county-wide programs to support victims of domestic abuse and countless other initiatives. These days, they’re still going strong, continuing to run vital programs like:
The organization was preparing to launch a capital campaign for its upcoming Next Steps Family Resilience Center. But their old website just didn’t show the full scope or professionalism of everything they do. So we set out to build a fresh digital presence, one that really captures their mission and helps them connect more deeply with the community.

Bringing Purpose to the Digital Experience
Foremost Media redesigned and rebuilt Family Services’ website from the ground up. Here’s what we centered on to bring their vision to life:

- Donor-Focused Functionality: Clear donation opportunities and space to highlight those making a difference.
- Event Promotion: Highlighting what’s happening in the community and inviting people to join.

- Program Clarity: A clearer view of the services offered; what they are, who they’re for, and how to access them.
